Sounds like injecting yourself with snake oil at best and cancer at worst.

Adipose derived stem cells are being used for a lot of tendon and cartilage applications at the moment
    Seems very promising

Yeah but ex vivo, they're not just injecting live stem cells. They're using them to make layers of skin and cartilage in the lab which are then transplanted.

    No

I am involved in a trial right now injecting allogeneic stem cells into arthritic knees

A lot of my local pro athletes are getting injected into tendons with anecdotal success

Thank you. How is the trial working for you?

I think I'll stick to see physiotherapist covered by insurance and also save a plane ticket to Nevada [IMG]

Stem cell research is pretty exciting, though. Will be interesting to see what will happen in the future.

Found out that my on and off shoulder pain is due to a bridge between my first two ribs

There seems to be some bone connecting my first two ribs. The GP said it's a birth defect. I don't know much about it yet since no specialist looked at it but seems to be a plausible cause.

Do the cells go through a couple of rounds of differentiation beforehand?

Not sure I'd do it to myself tbh.

How did you guys' 2015 go and what are you looking to do next year?

I got leaner and a little stronger. Next year I want to get leaner and a LOT stronger. I learned a lot and stayed injury free thank God.

2015 was basically all recovery from my ACL. That + work + grad school is a recipe for falling off the wagon a bit. Now around 15% bf which the gf likes but I just feel fat.

I'll start a cut in 2016 around mid feb i guess.

Got hit and run by a car on my bike and broke my collarbone and orbital this year. Then got really really fat and depressed. Gonna try to crawl out of that in 2016

I trained 33 times all year according to my log book, that's not even once a week :/
My kids reflux and intolerances are finally getting medicated correctly and he's been sleeping for some good stretches now though. 2016 I want to be back where I was by the 4th of July.

Lost most of my gains thru illness in the latter part of this year and struggling to re-motivate. 2016 is for finally getting into the 1000lb club before my 45th birthday and get a proper handle on my diet to get my body comp right. Merry Christmas guys!

Gained 15 pounds while losing ~2% BF.

2016 is to try and stay steady on weight and lose another 2-3% BF

Lost 30 pounds since mid-August on the "eat less food, drink less beer" diet. Need to get back into exercise of some kind, if not lifting. Doing any kind of serious steady routine is just too hard with my work and travel schedule. (I can do it, I'd just have to sacrifice something else important like making money or spending time with my wife.)

Shitty year for me healthwise. Made minimal gains, except my weight, probably added 30 pounds when I had planned to lose 10. No legitimate excuse just a lack of willpower.

Just to add to the depressing reports

Hurt my shoulder mid-year, physique and lifts have consequently gone backwards, shoulder is still not improved

Probably past my physical peak now age-wise and suspect it will be slowly downhill from here unless I start taking drugs
