IMO this idea cant overtrain hurr durr just lift is bullshit

Some people have genetically appalling recovery abilities.

You can't look at people who become successful weightlifters/bodybuilders/athletes etc and extrapolate their experience to the average genetic trash that inhabits forums desperately looking for advice

The two groups are pre-selected: the former to respond well to large training volumes, the latter to respond poorly

I imagine there are many people on internet forums who actually TRAIN TOO MUCH OR TOO HARD. These people are fucking desperate to get strong/shredded, and will do anything, obsessing all day about how they can improve. No way on earth they are not going to train like fuck if they could get away with it/benefit from it

What do you want to do? Do you want to get cut, or just looking to get big? Not sure if you stated your goals

IMO weightlifters and bodybuilders don't even come close to representing the genetic elite of their sport. And even when they do, it's more about body proportions than any magical genetic ability to recover from training.

    Its both

And despite not being as elite as actual professional athletes who make lots of money, they are still elite relative to the average loser on the internet.

Even within this thread, there is obviously an enormous discrepancy in genetic potential between users

@Khayembii Communique cut for a long time unless you really just want to be strong. Your lower back fat is out of control right now.

Of course there are differences, but no one's over training from 4 sessions a week.

I haven't met anyone who trains hard and consistently 3-5 days a week that hasn't made progress. Everyone I've met who isn't making progress is simply not putting in the effort or having the consistency to do so.

I've never met anyone in real life who I could put down over training to their lack of progress.

There are some guys who train 7 days a week who aren't making progress but they're pretty big and strong and are probably at their limits. Maybe if they trained less it might help but I doubt that's what's limiting them.

I overtrain at 4 times a week. I make better progress on 3 or even 2

But I have shitty genetics, fragile gracile joints and tendons, and I work 60 hours a week in a reasonably physical job

Gross generalizations are rarely if ever accurate, so I stay away from them

Back looks thick. Tris look decent. Legs chest shoulders etc eh not seeing it. I don't think you look like total shit, but your bulk added a helluva fat tire. I thought you were on gear, doesn't that help put on more lean mass?

Since you're close, just go for the total then start to Fucking cut slowly. Do you do any accessories for chest or arms? I think you'd see much better chest size with db bench and cable flyes in your workouts.

GN is about your height and you've seen what he looks like. You probably could have done a better job with the bulk but it is what it is and it's not awful.

Went to a climbing gym today for 3 hrs to boulder and climb then did some shoulder prehab, bicep curls, and pallof presses for a bit.

Climbing is a blast. I wonder how these ten sessions will affect my body combined with the lifting. This is basically the cardio I'm doing for now. Will try getting some in the gym too, but life has been a bit hectic since I've decided to leave my job by the end of may if not earlier.

Fat goes straight to my tire, dude, it sucks. My abs are still noticeable and I even have quad separation ffs makes no sense.

I figured out how to successfully bulk like halfway through this bulk so should see cleaner bulks down the road.

Skeen I could legit be 165 8-10% at 5'7" right bow. I've got the muscle mass for it right now. That's prob my goal at end of cut. I prob wont stay there year round. 175 at 13% is def a goal.

Used to take this, but after a few 3rd party studies showed MP protein spikes the crap out of their stuff, I stopped. Some of their protein powders only had about 50-60% of the claimed protein.

I was talking about the variety that takes people up to a year to actually fix, not just some general lack of progress.
