I'd mix plain with juice but it's too much sugar.I used to make shakes with ground oatmeal, Orange juice, vanilla whey, and eggs. It was great till I got sick off eggs. Better without eggs, but plain whey would have worked here too. It was a decent gainer that has a bunch of cals and held hunger between lunch and an evening workout.

Side note: has anyone done much boxing? There's a group on for a gym here and I might grab one for 10-20 sessions. Could be a blast.

Yeh, I used to do boxing for cardio. No matter how good your conditioning is it will kick your ass for the first few sessions. It's just one of those things that you can't really "prep" for without actually doing it.

Boxing is awesome cardio...I miss it. My apt gym used to have a bag, but it's mysteriously gone. My regular gym doesn't have one. I need a new gym.

As said above, it will kick your ass. Plus you feel badass for doing it. Beats the bike (my second fav form of cardio) any day.

Just FYI, the human body can not digest and make use of the protein in raw eggs.
So much for that whole Rocky/ old bodybuilding culture thing of drinking raw eggs...

Humans CAN use the protein from raw eggs, but the amount of protein that is processed by the food is roughly 80% more if you cook it. If you want the most protein from your eggs (and your macros to be right), cook them, but don't think that drinking them will mean you'll get 0 protein from it.

They say no data is available for in vivo, but it's pretty reasonable at this point to note that you can digest raw egg protein.

Isn't there also something about raw egg blocking B6 funciton so that certain vitmains/minerals are not absorbed and can lead to deficiency?

Shit, misread the Chipotle chicken recipe and put the actual Chipotle peppers (seeds out) along with the sauce (I am slow cooking it vs marinade and grill). Hopefully it's still edible and not ridiculously spicy.

    Dude youre fucked

Naw I dunno. I did add one of those packs of taco meat seasoning to the marinade as the shit was pretty bland first try. Hopefully that will be enough to give it some more kick.

Best 3x a week split? I might just go back to 5/3/1 with Bodybuilding accessory work. Just don't have enough time to do 4/5 days.

How much time do you have during each workout? I would go for some kind of full body plan.

Another idea is to do multiple workouts a day. They have to be pretty short workouts though.

Thanks you guys. There's a groupon for a boxing gym where 10 classes are 50 bucks or 20 classes are 80 bucks. I might grab the 10 class package to try it out. Might be a good way to mix stuff up over the winter. It'd be cool to learn to use a bag as well.

Yeah, I was young and stupid. This was YEARS ago haha.

    Push, pull, legs?

Could probably also do push/pull, legs, push/pull, if you can run supersets and want some more volume.

depends how much time you have.
Or, yeah, doing the Boring but Big plan for 5/3/1 would work.

Great week in FL. Got tan as fuck, a little burnt but not bad. Rode a jet ski, drank around the world at Epcot, laid by the pool, won $100 at the casino. Ate shit most of the time but got out jogging in the morning and whatnot. Went to the Packer game yesterday, we did it healthy, packing sandwiches and shit. Good time.

Back to the grind. Two weeks of hell trying to prep three bschool apps while doing everything else in my life, then hopping on a plane for a hellish trip to the east coast. Gonna start bulking after my interviews because I gotta fit my ass in my suit hahaha

    Did I miss anything?
