I actually lost it at the gym today. Only took 2-3 weeks at this new place. Dude was benching 315 and failed, it slammed on his chest and pinned him for a good 30 seconds. I saw it out of the corner of my eye while benching I quickly racked my weight and ran over to the guy grabbed one side and like everyone in the gym was just standing there watching. Had to yell use your fucking eyes to get another guy to grab the other side.

Then last week some skinny asian kid was doing like 600lbs on the leg press machine but doing like 1" calf extensions, he had small ass calves. Wanted to ask him how that was working out for him.

All this clever t-shirt talk makes me wanna rock a t-shirt with "check your ego at the door" to the gym. But it's not actually that clever so I'll just stay home.

DL RP 365! Stoked! 4 plates, here I come within a few months...

Considering I train primarily for strength and they've gotten me to a low 500s deadlift and a mid 400s squat I'm fairly happy with the results.

Marfans disorder isn't good for the pec insertions. Forever chest gap. It saved me from the Manlet though.

Talking about spending money, I've dropped so much money on hiking gear for the wife and I these past few weeks. $120-150 for shoes, $150 for a day pack and bladder, $20x2 for decent socks, miscellaneous stuff like first aid kit, plus I still need to get some clothes for longer hikes. I can't believe how expensive the Gore Tex stuff is.

Half the stuff I need to get is in the "don't die if something bad happens" category. Like I don't plan to hike in the rain, but don't want to regret being cheap about a raincoat if the weather turns.

It's worth it when you hit the summit, though. Huge feeling of accomplishment.

I just finished paying my admissions consultant off, $4000 out of savings. Also had to pay $150 for my schools to just be able to look at my GMAT scores. Taking a week long trip to check out schools in September which'll probably cost around $1000 but I'm gonna try to shoestring it. Then I get to pay $1500 to apply to schools. Then pay for more trips to schools I get interviews at. Then a trip to the school I'm accepted at to convince my girl to move with me.

My caloric needs must have shot through the roof since I started this high frequency program, because I'm currently eating 3700 calories a day and not gaining any weight at 195 lbs. Aiming to gain another 15 pounds so I'll prob be eating well over 4000 calories a day at the end just to gain weight.
Feels like I'm stuffing myself all the time, eating like 4 pounds of oatmeal a week and bringing a carton of chocolate milk to the gym.
Can't complain though. Eating this much while not getting fat is a luxury.
