    Gonna start SPBR today, foam rolling directly after. Hyped to actually be deadlifting tonight, but I'm gonna start low - probably 220 - just so I can get form down and focus on driving with my ass and not my quads.

    Foam roll and mobility before and on the day of rest, nothing after workout.

    My brother is visiting from out of state. He bought a VitaMix and holy shit, it just reaffirms my desire to have one. Half a bag of spinach, cup of blueberries, some ice and water blending into a fine tasting drink in less than a minute on the third lowest setting (there are 10). Somewhat related, but he's one of the few instances that make me even think about family genetics. He's mostly a runner and pretty DYEL by this thread's standards, but has the frame perfect for packing on muscle in a traditionally aesthetic way. Broad shoulders, narrow waist, etc. I hadn't seen him since Christmas, but he's been doing that Tapout workout and has already noticeably thicker arms and those boulder-like delts that I've found so tough to develop. :confused:

    My wife just bought a Vitamix, and I bought a Baratza Virtuoso. $600+ spent on grinding equipment in one week.

    If you don't strengthen the new ranges of motion, the gained ROM will most likely go back after a couple of hours. There's very little reason to do mobility work if you're not gonna use the increased ROM you gain by it or just sit on your ass at home.

    So do it before lifting and use the increased ROM on your lifts.

    ^ yup exactly. And do it on days off to mitigate tightness and also self assess what areas are getting too tight.

    Holy shit, styleforum inside joke just got real life. This awesome guy in my gym invited me to train in some dudes garage with him, he's nationally ranked in strongman and has an elite total, and some other guy who is one of the top lifters around 200lbs. I just realized it's probably this dude
