    Thanks for the tips

I was curious about the eating on deficit and when Mark made that post about 2 types of aesthetics. If I started on a deficit I think I'd starve and mess up my metabolism. I am also on that forever elusive quest for some form of abs as I've never had any before. Hence, the thought of cutting and eating on deficit was tempting me.

Fwiw I was 170lb 6 years ago. Wish I got into lifting then rather than dropping all the way down to 150 fml

These kinds of questions make me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too.

Just bodyfat. Guy on the left has cut down to 10-11% for a photoshoot. Guy on the right is sitting pretty at 18-20%.

Nothing pretty about it, dude looks bloated and awful. I never understood people who think that is a pleasing aesthetic

Just curious how often does everyone lift here a week? I do 3x a week, about 2 1/2 hours per workout, but my warmup takes 1/2 hour sometimes. Tried to do 4x a week but having DOMS and extra tightness from the previous workout was effecting my form and strength.

All about perspective and goals. I think dude on right has a much better physique, also if that dude wanted to cut he would be jacked to shit. I workout with nationally ranked bodybuilders and one thing I notice that sets them apart from dudebros that wana look like them is that they are not afraid to get fat. I've only seen two off seasons but three of the guys who I consider to have the best physique can gain weight really fuckin fast where they look like a powerlifter.

    wimp

I mean, if all you want to do is work, eat, and go to the gym, you can keep it up. It's pretty much all TK does.

1.5g/lb is a pretty standard protein amount, regardless of cutting. It's been brought up a few times before.

TK also has a hot girlfriend so his lack of outside activities are totally acceptable.

4 or 5, depends on the wk i have programmed

i'd love to be in 6 times per wk or do two a days where I'd split the power variations and pulls with classic lifts in the afternoon or evening, but unfortunately there's this thing called life that kinda gets in the way of that.

well, who the fuck am i kidding, no life just work.

Yea, I lifted 5 days a week when I competed in oly lifting. One of the reasons why I quit.
