Fwiw I didn't fancy the leather used on the Raf derbies that I got from Gilt or whatever. Got two pairs but both were meh, imo. Maybe it's better now, idk.

just saw the u-n-i-ty convo. i don't know about 5-7 years ago, but in the last two years i've noticed it more and more. i actually like the brand. it is pretty basic, but i think they do a nice job of picking fabrics and doing subtle details, like raw finishes, exposed seams and that sort of thing. it's the cheapest brand at IF but it doesn't feel out of place, and i think along with barena and ten-c it's one of the best offerings on the co-op floor at barneys (i see more affinity with those brands than margiela). actually a lot of good shops carry it, including Totokaelo, DSM, Isetan, HLorenzo, etc. i dunno. think it's worth looking at up close. that said, the lookbooks are definitely boring.

Oh wow, didn't realize all those stores carried it, since it's pretty scarce online. It's certainly missing from the DC Co-op, just like most other interesting brands

In related news, I kind of fell out-of-love with the jacket I scored from Yoox and will prob return it-- the fabric is really cushy and cozy, but the fit is a liittle too slouchy for me. I still recommend the brand for all you Yoox junkies. Fabrics alone make it worth a shot.

What happened with the wife of your boss, though? Did you end that fling? Do you still think of her? Him? Yourself?

Not gonna lie, I really like the leather track jacket Adidas did with Pharrell.
Never liked bombers or varsity jackets, but this is great.

    Guys -

    GUYS

Anyone else, while browsing SF on their phone but NOT on the mobile version (just the regular SF website on their browser), get randomly taken to the App Store (this is on an iPhone 5S) to some kids game to purchase? Happens every once in a while, and when it does happen it keeps happening until I move on to something else and forget about trying to browse SF. Anyone?

Yes, happens to me, but it never happens over and over again. Basically I just get redirected to some kid's game on the App Store app from Safari, but when I go back to Safari it's the page I intended to be on.

You back up and running, by the way?

@Bam!ChairDance, I watched Only God Forgives last night. Ryan looked stunning as always. Can you tell me what kind of t-shirt he was wearing? There was one white one and one black one, I think both from the same brand.

Happens to me almost every time I visit the site on my phone.

I do use the mobile version, though.
