How strict of a dress code? I have to wear biz caz at my current job, but it doesn't affect things too much bc I can still get away with most stuff... it's pretty much just "no jeans or tees" and anything else is fine.

I've worn well fitting indigo selvedge jeans to work in a biz casual environment and nobody flinched. Our officer manager remarked that I looked good. I just pair it with a dress shirt with/without SC and it's fine. I've worn black jeans before too.

Light wash is probably the only thing I wouldn't think about doing.

I also wear a varsity jacket in to the office as outerwear sometimes.

So yeah, I guess my place is pretty lax relative to some...

Just get a really, really, really tiny tattoo in a super inconspicuous spot (maybe on your ring finger, which you can make totally invisible with a wedding band). Then you'll find you can dress SW+D all you want.

Agreed. Just makes sure you don't run into any staid, nerdy dicks if you decide to interview elsewhere.

It's awful, huh? I sneak in SW&D stuff as long as I'm not meeting with a client - Guidi boots with a suit, SNS sweater with a button-down, etc. Wish I could get some enthusiasm for MC instead of swapping between generic grey suit, generic black suit, generic navy suit. I even bought a Raf suit, Jil suit, and a Dries suit and ended up selling them because they just aren't as comfy to wear all day as the generic $500 ones I get from chain stores.

Classic menswear isa game of degrees and details. I much more about virtuosity and interpretation. If SwU is

Is it because they're slim? Ironically work is the one place I DON'T want to wear my tailored stuff since it isn't comfy to sit in all day compared to jeans. If I'm walking around I don't care.

Yeah, the suits I wear are still pretty slim by most standards, just not "fashion" slim. I like a bit of breathing room, especially if I'm just lounging around the office.

Yeah, mine's pretty much the same. I dunno about indigo jeans, but probably non-faded black jeans. I wear my TOJ jackets (lamb mdr, calf bomber, suede harrington) to work all the time. I never wear my actual dress pants/shirts to work since I don't have to. I mostly wear jean-cut pants (ervell summer/winter jeans and the like) with sw&d buttondowns and then ervell or sns sweaters in the winter.

Spilled a jar of pickled ginger on my shoes today.

So I guess I have pink vans now.

What is that? We have something similar, we just put sugar and marmalade on them.

A girl dropped a cup of wine on my painted converse; the wine rolled right off the paint, but the laces are now spotty purple. Time to use that laces website.

It's basically fried dough with octopus bits covered in okonomiyaki sauce, mayo, seaweed and bonito flakes.

... It tastes better than it sounds. Maybe not with sugar and marmalade though.

Those unlined suede common projects is the shit for the summer, so breezy.

Question: do people check fashunz company's social media for updates on products and what not?
