Last night I dreamt I was in the woods playings paintball

    Artishard was in my team

I was wearing a 5-zip I had borrowed from him, and a grey sweatshirt

He was like: "do you really think THAT sweater goes with the jacket?
Me: "nah, only wore a white tee earlier, but it' kinda cold so had to put this on"
    Art: "hm, alright, makes sense"

Then in stitches, dressed in all bape/supreme camo, shot me

    Weird shit

Thick socks or boots with insulation. Both preferably.

It's a classic MA-1 bomber from a pretty traditional company. A large corresponds to a size 42. That's about right for a 42. And remember, the back length is including the waistband, and the "blouson" effect makes the length seem a few inches shorter.

Virgils are tight in the heel because of the stabilizer. Narrow feet can probably go TTS, otherwise size up 1/2.

you guys ever buy a cheap version of a piece to sort of test out if you like the idea before committing to it?

like I'm pretty sure an MA-1 will fit into my wardrobe but not ready to drop $$$ either on say the Lad Musician version or a leather one (ToJ?) so for now just getting a $50 H&M version for a season and if it gets used a lot I'll upgrade and toss.

or for example, a lot of people are doing tapered sweats now but it's not something I've ever done, so instead of 'testing' the idea for $200-400 I just did a $20 Uniqlo pair of sweats and have now found I really only wear them to lounge around the house, so probably would have wasted $$$ for a baller version I'd never wear out.

(assuming you do) what sort of items have you bought a tester/cheap version of before upgrading? or not upgraded because you realized it wasn't really for you?
