jet why do you want a barbour? it's almost a necessity in England but the waxed fabric doesn't breathe at all, on a warm day it creates an unpleasant 'personal sauna' effect. would be a nightmare in LA i think

So...in other words, Duke wants you to bound to it, but it doesn't necessarily want to be bound to you.

Actually, cool thing is WL releases me from the bind, so now I'm free to see how things play out and review offers from the other 14 schools I applied to

Hell nah, I'm ready to leave the PNW for good. I want to work in either DC or NYC for an international firm, and eventually be transferred to the UK.

    Good luck reedo

I'm surprised. I though you would be more into wining and dining.

Also krug clos du mesnil is a blanc de blanc so you don't even need to dye it.

I'm sure it's true with some other wines as well but phylloxera changed the character of Armagnac a lot because they found that grafting folle Blanche (one of the varieties in Armagnac) onto American rootstock (in order to prevent phylloxera) produced larger and tighter grapes which made for less aromatic wines and also caused greater probability of rot and mildew.

Sorry, brainfart about the Krug, as for the rest I like good wine/food but harbor no illusions about it. I also think some people take it too far with very little reason to, especially since it's hipster revival.
