It was cooler than 70 degrees the other morning. Fall weather is right around the corner people. :slayer:

Depends where you live unfortunately...I still probably have another 3 months before the average high is below 70 (21 for you heathens out there).

Have you tried silent? It's more of an elongated rise rather than a drop crotch.
I'm pretty short at 5'6 and my silent polios pants are my fave. I haven't tried Rick but I suspect I wouldn't like them. Silents, because of the bias back seam, don't have diaper boy swag like Rick

Actually, I said that after trying on a pair of Silent pants I just got. It's not just the drop crotch that doesn't make them work for me, though. I have a pair of Silent shorts that are subtly drop crotch that work pretty well but it's kind of hit or miss. I definitely think those Polios look good in your fits and I want to try them out (my favorite Silent piece based on pics) but my opportunity to grab a pair has come and gone I fear.

Georgia says "**** you!" with 85-90 degrees and 90%+ humidity for the past 3 days and extending all the way over labor day!

Austin's 5 day forecast:
Today - observed high of 102
Friday - predicted high of 102
Saturday - predicted high of 98
Sunday - predicted high of 99
Monday - predicted high of 100

I've lived in Texas almost my whole life...you don't get used to summer (I know all of the South is similar though - and other parts of the world are worse). I don't see how some (albeit few) people actually enjoy this kind of weather.

our weather has been bizarre this summer. it's really hot again, but for much of the summer it was like 85.

We had about 2 weeks during the summer where every day it was at least 95, with the peak being 107. It sucked working that week. The good thing is that I don't spend any money on S/S stuff so hooray for buying fall things.

I can't believe I complained about the cold summers in SF. Anything is better than a humid 85+ day.

I swear, there needs to be some kind of SW&D ceremony that welcomes in the fall. Maybe where one lays out all the knits and jackets and says a few words of prayer for the oncoming time of steez and swag.
