I have a sudden urge to wear a Visvim jacket and Viberg boots all fall/winter. Why?

Maybe, but Visvim isn't part of Styleforum groupthink - not sure how it infiltrated my brain (5).

Looking for a black/dark grey(/blue/green) sweatshirt/sweater/cardigan/knit/hoodie/something that's clean and simple, but not a "classic" design, in the price range of 150-300$.
    Any suggestions?
The Barena one posted here is cool, but I'm pretty sure I'd just keep looking for something with a less classic design. Seen some cool devoa and luc stuff, but even off supermarket/b&s they are still 400-500$.

somebody brought up her name in the comments. don't know if this is actually the reasoning for her name, but here was one commenter's response: "Yes, it is really her middle name. In chinese, there is a character that looks like a number 8. It is a symbol for prosperity and good luck."

I think that Visvim has been getting much more play recently. Styleforum + blogs + webstores. It's more than enough to get into your head. Not to mention that reat "streetwear" has been making inroads for a while.

8 in cantonese and mandarin sounds like fa or prosperity and money, very standard for names to have something alluding to this

Also goes other ways like 58 would mean not prosperity since 5 sounds like no

You can probably find some zam stuff in that price range. Try the sz classifieds :)

    Howlin, Andersen-Andersen, Babour,

Frenchtrotters do "their own" knitwear, which could be an option and if you are skinny enough you can get a Kitsune on sale.

I have a Harris Wharf London jacket that I got off Yoox. It's decent - kind of washed/distressed around the seams - but it runs a little slim in the shoulders and arms.
Only so I can post a YouTube video of the samizdat and lure him into viewing it.

    I'll spoiler it, though.

Possibly, nothing on sz in my size or still up for sale though [IMG]

These are all way more "classic" than what I'm looking for.
Feel like this stuff gets worn with more rugged and preppy stuff, while what I'm looking for is to be worn with side-zips/hi-tops, black pants/jeans and a shirt [IMG]

Hah fair enough, but I'm looking for something more "minimalistic" (that is probably a horrible misuse of the word but I don't know how else to explain what I want, so those of you that might silently shake your fist in anger will just have to manage).

I think have found something nice though
anyone in canada who could proxy something for me? if so please pm [IMG]
