I like local art. You can get unique, really great stuff and talk to the artists too, which is always really great

For a mere $1100, you can buy a Gucci cardigan that features a dead-on imitation of the Express logo.

you mean the Todd Haynes one with Julianne Moore as a hyperallergic/hypochondriac, right? thought so

whenever people talk about Crash I always hope they mean the Cronenberg one about people with car-crash fetishes, but it always turns out they mean the Paul Haggis one about race in LA :(

Man that is a pretty grim painting haha, I don't know how people would respond to seeing that in my room...

In my apartment I have blacked out all the windows and only hang prints from Zdzisław Beksinski

I have transformed my apartment into an exact replica of the inside of the Rothko chapel.

Now I spend my time alone with only the 14 shades of black and the cold hard concrete as my companions. I stare into The Void for hours on end in hopes of feeling... something.

To be fair, we were talking in the context of Jason Statham movies. So, yes, the one with Julianne Moore.

is it wrong that i actually kind of don't mind the style vs. fashion distinction?

like fashion is what is currently popular and style is knowing how to incorporate it into the way that you like to dress.

coming from a designer it's disingenuous as hell, but i still think there's a distinction to be made.

(I know this conversation has been done to death).
