that sounds horrible. What can we do? Maybe the ToJ can hang a sign over his establishment to lead them in line.

Just got my shipment in from The Corner. Box was enormous in comparison to the size of the actual CP box. Very reminiscent of Mr. Porter.

Yoox companies ship in entirely too much packaging. And they probably charge you for that shit too, in the item price at least.

Nice. I just placed my first order from Yoox—a shirt. I'll be on the lookout for a shipping container waiting at my doorstep.

Maybe he prefers English tailoring? (See scene where Daisy cries over Gatsby's shirts.)

I wish I wasn't so damn cold all the time. All I want to buy are thick wool sweaters in neutral colors. Boring. If I lived in NY, I'd go crazy with +J which would leave me with enough cash to actually cop cool items. Alas...

Just a name I've always used. I like the book. I don't see how it contradicts what I said.

I'd bet more than half the forum members find straight Americana/workwear boring at this point. It's been saturated for seasons. Maybe you can wake JohnH or Robert up to argue with you, tho.

RFT--couple of Raf and Ervell SS09 cotton jackets at the local Filenes for like $150 each; wasn't worth braving the lines even to flip.

This. Too much exposure for too long. You can only get excited about flannel shirts for so many seasons before you feel the itch to search for something different. Unless you live in Superdenim, that is.
