was it white vinegar or regular vinegar to keep clothing white? or should i just use bleach? a dozen tees and a shirt have been tainted a very light/powder pink that is visible under various light [IMG] (been a week fyi)

never letting anyone do my laundry fml

It's white vinegar. I would try that or Oxy Clean before bleach. Just be careful because the vinegar is caustic and can chew up the fabric (though I've never had a problem with this). I've learned the hard way to avoid bleach. It can leave visible yellowish spots on white clothing where it has sucked the color out.

If I said that there are no idiotic comments on SW&D, I'd be that third type of liar. That comment, while stupid, does not represent the same level of philistinism though, imo. If you read that history of posts, it's really a rather weak attempt to justify how the poster should use limited resources. Also, that poster has at least some level of experience and knowledge with that brand. If you want to see really annoying, ignorant posts on SW&D, you should read the posts that can all be paraphrased "I dunno, but that looks really gay lolz." Sad to say, but it does come from some of the J. Crew fanboys. I admire J. Crew for how it has placed itself in the market, but it's not the be all and end all, nor even a gold standard. You should note that guys like Vox and Iammatt (both of whom own very nice jeans, and, at least in Matt case, are open to new ideas) do not generally make comments like you saw on the 7FAM thread. It's good to know your limits and respect that others may know more than do you about certain things.
I agree with most of what you say here, and thanks for elaborating. Thoughtful, info-loaded posts like this are what I most enjoyed about SF (and miss these days) not tough-talking swag-spouting midgets (To be pedantic though, you did say in your OP that SW&D people are never proud of their ignorance/philistinism. That's the literal interpretation of what you wrote. [IMG] )

Oh my god. Perhaps the most obscure Simpsons reference I've seen immortalized on cotton. I must have one.

Thanks Jet. Worth the extra $50-100 from the lower end steamers?

Uncontrol buy that coat, do it do it do it. What's the t minus on the Uncontrol x ToJ jacket?

Also, Charles James stomps all over everyone forever. The 'Abstract' gown especially is from another, sexier planet.
