Absolute best game of all time. I think I own like 10 different releases. On a side note I've just finished reading pattern recognition, and now I want a Buzz Ricksons.

*edit though the Original Game Boy release of Tetris is a very very close second.

This is actually pretty cool. Generally I'm not into Mister Freedom but the colored strings or whatever are really pleasant. $400 for a shirt though, I'd sooner spend that on a belt

Tender has cool black wool chore coats. Not really long, but could be cool depending on how you style it. Available at Standard & Strange, although they don't seem to have the item up on their website at the moment (it's in-store though)

Basically this, but in black wool

You mentioned Tender, but anything I've ever bought from them fits funny.

Well, that doesn't help. I make all of my own belts and couldn't imagine spending anything on one!

Seems like you can imagine someone else spending something on them, though …

I like your belts, but you don't ever get the urge for some commercially unobtainable hardware or just plain difficult leather treatment, like MA+ buckles or the ones that Equus has commissioned, or vat dyed Guidi leather (that they don't sell to anyone, so....)?

At this point, I have all the standard belts I will ever need, in some pretty darn nice workmanship, so I always crave something unique.

I can totally understand this. It's super hard even to find solid basic hardware among all of the junk that is available. I don't really have the desire to commission, say, Damascus buckles, since it's just a side hobby for me (what's that? I should be working on my tenure binder?). I fully admit that Equus's craftsmanship is a level above mine, and I love to see their work. I have a beautiful watch band from them. All I'm saying is comparison of the MF shirt to a belt doesn't help assuage the guilt of my likelihood of spending $400 on a shirt :)
