^ srsly. I can't decide what my favorite part is. Reads like embarrassing internal brand guidelines copy.

You can probably fit type 2 if you size up; I'm a 30 in type 3 but a 32 in type 2. The main difference for me is the fit in the waist and top block, with the 32 type being looser but still with a nice taper and room in the thigh. I can deadlift while wearing the type 2

Jesus, you weren't kidding about beating the crap out of your jeans. Where did you end up getting them repaired and how much was it?

Any misgivings or complaints? I've heard that jeans that have been darned have a raised lump on the inside that makes them uncomfortable to wear.

I've used dylon dye to dye a number of things. It's really not difficult at all. I believe rit dye is also popular.

How over-zealous are condition ratings on Rakuten? Like, if something has been graded as 'Acceptable', but looks fine from the photos, is that the seller being cautious/harsh?

    A Japanese C is an American A

I once bought a pair of Guidi boots that were clearly brand new, with pristine soles. The only issue was a slight bit of sight discoloration that could easily have happened at the factory, seeing how many pair with slight blemishes there are in stores, just because of how the boots are made.

About $560 for a pair of boots that typically go for $1250+ in the states.

On the flipside, the Dries shirt I just picked up came with an awfully sweat stained collar. Most of my JP purchases have been better than expected quality wise though.
