Ever been to the Heavy Seas Alehouse near there? Any affiliation with the brewery?

It's the official brewpub / alehouse for Heavy Seas Brewery

Rad. Some of their beers are decent. I'll definitely check that out.

They did it in dark navy twill this season, dunno who has it in stock. TBB still has stock on grey tropical wool and olive twill.

Sorry, not familiar with this place but MGC has it covered. If you're in the mood for sushi, Cafe Asia is pretty popular and relatively good. Asian fusion, I believe. Not my go-to sushi joint but it's not bad, either.

The fact that Jpeterman still exists is amazing, I might cop a silk scarf

Yeah, I used to work in an office building that's basically across the street from there (the one above the Safeway). Cafe Asia was the default place for client lunches, and my coworkers and I would go to happy hour there occasionally. Unless there have been any major developments since 2010 or so, I'd categorize Cafe Asia as entirely acceptable but not worth going out of one's way to visit.

I agree. The legit Asian food is in Annandale, but that's probably a little out of your way since you want to stay around Rosslyn.

Animal Collective 5/10, Wild Nothing 5/11, Sweet Life 5/14. Going to be concerted out. If anyone is around for Wild Nothing @ Black Cat, send me a PM.

Thai food = Thai X-ing (solid, not super spicy but a good showing). Baan Thai (above Thaitanic) is amazing. I've been 3 times and will be back soon. They don't hold back on aromatics or spice. I really like the khao soi and pork picnic. One day, when I can handle the wait, I'll try Little Serow. Beau Thai is a solid neighborhood spot if you're nearby and lazy.

Ray's the Steaks in Rosslyn? If you are willing to venture a couple metro stops, there's Pupatella for pizza and a couple Mike Isabella joints.

Any of my fellow SF bros have a recommendation for a plain/minimalist linen hat (baseball preferred)? Need something to wear after pool or beach activities. Yes I've checked Margiela, no dice
