I already have a bunch of custom derbies from Viberg. And I have Guidi 017s and 994s for beating around in the summer. I just want some new kicks for summer.

44 in GATs. I'm going to pass on GATs, though. I have 3 pairs. and I find them no that comfortable.

What is Casey Casey vs Casey Vidalenc? Is one a different line?

Eh mine have held up pretty well and I've had them for like three or four years now.

I have hightops, which are cool, but I mean, c'mon, they are not exactly rugged . I would say that Visvim sneakers actually hold up better.

I like beige and black Ann D lows, but on the white-and-black ones I think the contrast is way too stark.

Oki-ni has CP slip-ons in a similar colorway as those Visvims at 50 per cent off (=$160) right now:

    https://www.oki-ni.com/en/sales-lux...-off-white-suede-slip-on-sneakers-011174.html

I just ordered the black ones. Aesthetically I actually *much* prefer the off-white suede ones, but they're hardly a "I'm just gonna slip these on quickly to take the dog out in rain" shoe, which is basically what I need right now.

Btw there's also still a few Achilles Retros in black (or navy?) on oki-ni right now also at 50 per cent off. They are going fast though, the white ones sold out in all sizes over night.

On a vaguely related note, I e-mailed Yoox the other day begging them to make a difference in future between Ann Demeulemeester mainline footwear and the cheaper "AD Ann Demeulemeester". Often you can tell from the images that a particular pair is "AD", but it's annoying anyway. Pretty sure these are "AD":

    http://www.yoox.com/us/44995977OT/item#dept=men&sts=sr_men80&cod10=44995977OT&sizeId=

Certainly the lower starting price is a hint...

Those are AD. There are other ones on there that are mainline.

Re. the CP slip ons. I really do like the non-minimalist, slightly boho, slightly southwest, details, of the Visvim ones a lot more. It's probably just me, though. I sorta want to get them, and wear them wtih cropped pants and a CDG "rider" trench coat.

Fwiw I think those visvims are supercool and that they will suit you way better than any of the alternatives suggested.

    Kop :D

Chez Vidalenc left (not sure when) and Gareth Casey has carried the label on as Casey Casey.
