If I had it in my budget I would totally pick up a pair of Longfellow's. Really love the look of the kudu

Where's the best place to sell a pair of Rancourts? I have a pair of brown ranger mocs in 11D and I don't know why I keep trying to convince myself that they fit.

Best? Who knows, but the B&S or Ebay seem like fairly reasonable options.

There's grailed as well, though I've heard bad stuff about it recently. I sold a pair of jeans there and had no trouble though.

Not as good of a secondary market for Rancourts as there is for Alden, Carmina, and the like. Especially in sizes that are further from the median. If you put a generous price on them, I'm sure someone will bite eventually.

    eBay is probably best.

    Good Luck.

I'm I'm 10.5B in AE Park Avenue with thin socks, what size would you guess for rancourt sockless?

(I've been shoving my foot in 9/9.5D all these years. Oops)

Just got these in, unlined 2-eye boat shoes in caramel shell. Ordered these from ToBox shoes after seeing the caramel shell in person at one of Rancourt trunk shows he hosts. Added a few shots next to natural shell from AE. Not much difference between the Caramel and Natural, but the Caramel seems to be much more uniform in color and these are also the wettest most supple shell I've ever handled.

Ugh, I just missed out on that Brooks Bros version when they were on sale for around $300. Ending up waiting a day too long before I made the decision to grab them and they had just sold out. Oh well, these are nice little consolation prize.

Yeah it took me quite awhile to get mine, they never seemed to have my size and especially when they went on sale. Diligence paid off however, I kept looking and eventually they had my size and they were on sale.

Nice looking Carmel shells though, I have a pair of Beefrolls in Carmel shell but I wouldn't mind having a pair of Boat Shoes in Carmel shell as well.

Are the boat shoes recraftable? I don't know if I could justify a shell version at retail if they aren't.

Also missed out on the BB version on sale and have been kicking myself since.

    Why wouldn't they be?

As far as I know all Rancourts are recraftable.

Only Rancourts branded as Rancourt are recraftable by Rancourt, though. They, themselves, will not recraft rebranded footwear. They are recraftable in the general sense, though.

Not sure this is completely accurate. I have some Leffot loafers that were made by Rancourt. They are branded Leffot but are indeed recraftable

Hmmmm. The Leffot loafers don't say Rancourt anywhere on them?
