Ed at Hellbrand did a belt for me in cherry CXL. Gorgeous color.

I was going to go a color 8 cxl penny but might see if they can do a cherry. What do think about in a penny

I think #8 is going to be much more versatile. On the other hand cherry CXL is a lot more fun and much harder (impossible?) to find outside of an MTO. Unless the shoes are to serve a very specific purpose that requires a more conservative color, I'd go with more fun any day.

I have been thinking about the mid boot (Langdon Boot) in #8 CXL with either a honey Vibram or a RLH sole

Either sole would look gorgeous with the #8.

And no, I can't abide by the cherry.

Thanks. Thinking nickel eyelets on the boot would be a great fall makeup. Just need to pick a sole.

Cherry CXL is not for me either

^Anyone see an answer to the question about other possible shell colors since they dye in-house? I like that question even though it leads in a wallet-dangerous direction...

Looking to pick up the snuff penny loafers and some boat shoes. I emailed them about sizing, but I figured I'd throw it out here as well. I'm an 8E in Alden Indys and suede chukkas and an 8.5E in Allen Edmonds Strand. I THINK I measure an 8.5E on a Brannock. Any tips? Will the boat shoes and loafers generally fit the same?
