It comes in dark brown shell cordovan. being shell, there will be a little variation in color from pair to pair. This is a typical example, they may be a bit darker or lsightly lighter:

The May sale: 40% + an additional 15% for Purple and Black Labels, 30% + 15% for Blue Label. the 15% kicker works on the "first" day of the sale. But I haven't met a SA that won't honor the 15%. The May sale technically starts on May 14 this year, but RL stores will honor the price, at the beginning of May.

If you wait until July /Aug, most sale items should be 70% off.

The "only" things that are worth getting during Friends and Family are Basic Items that won't go on sale any other time of the year. You can spot Blue Label Basic Items by looking at the tag, if the tag has "BSR" on it, then it is a basic item you might consider acquire during F&F.
