I see RLPL are selling RTW suits/SC again. Thought they phased that out a couple of years ago, for MTM only.
    But...almost 5k$ for a Sportcoat?

I believe it still made by Corneliani. That's a really nice looking jacket. Nice find.

Anybody know who might have made something with this label?

So... The made in USA PRL stuff has a structured shoulder, though being full canvassed?

    Like, for example, this?

I have seen new season POLO jacket yesterday in France (Le Bon marché).
They have the new label (blue and yellow) and they are no longer made in Italy but in Slovakia. Still, they look very good...Sizing is slim fit.
The website says Italy, the label inside says Slovakia...
Don't know if it is only for European market...

I think the ones you're talking about say "European Made" on the website. They're made by Corneliani.

    Yep. Made in Slovakia though.

It's the same tag you find in CC Corneliani or Trend Corneliani pieces.

I can only offer comparative remarks, since I have a PRL with a similar looking label (and several others with the more recognizable Corneliani tags inside the pocket). It looks similar in format to a blue PRL blazer I have (but mine is in English, not German, and where that is light blue, mine is more grey). It otherwise looks the same, including that it looks like the label is intended to be cut (so as to separate the portion with the little boxes at the bottom). Maybe you weren't asking about this, but the "Polo by Ralph Lauren" tag on mine looks different - it doesn't say Made in Italy on the edge and instead has white (in one case blue) stitching like in a /\/\/\/\ pattern around the border. Aside from the inside pocket tag, all other tags on my jacket are the same as those with the more recognizable Corneliani inside-the-pocket tags, so I assume the one of mine with tags like you showed is just an older model, still made by Corneliani, but I honestly don't know. This particular jacket of mine has a lower gorge and wider lapels than my other PRL jackets with more recent Corneliani tags, but otherwise similar (soft shoulder, 3r2).

I think this tag is older Corneliani. Does anyone know how this might fit generally speaking? I'm just wary of any low armholes and a terribly dated fit.

Bigger/looser all over; longer; lower button stance; wider lapels; slightly lower gorge

Looks dated compared to their most recent stuff, but that might not be a bad thing . . .

Does anyone know if it is normally necessary to size up from normal suit size in either the Corneliani or Caruso (PRL/RLPL) made overcoats?

Does anyone know who makes the ties for RL? Both BL and Polo all say "handmade in Italy" and I think they are exceptional quality for the price.
