So they have the same "rigidness" of the shoulder as the Anthony? It is not like the soft natural shoulders of the Daniel sports coat?
Correct. Same as the Anthony only slimmer and shorter. To me it actually felt like the roping was more pronounced because it is slimmer than the Anthony. If you prefer the Daniel softer shoulder this would not be it.

Can anyone tell me if there is anything special about this tag? I've passed it up at the store a couple times, since it stuck around maybe it was meant for me...

The label itself is plaid, very close to the shade of the shirt. Made in the Philippines.

That's the lowest-end line, sold at places like Sears.

I have a Garrison fit suit in 36R. The fit is not slim at all. I swim inside the jacket. Also the jacket is quite long - I am 5'9" and the jacket is way too long for me. Its sitting in my closet for last 12 months. I need to do some major alteration before I can wear it. Its funny how 2 posters above said slim fit. In fact its far from it.

well, you're really skinny then... I am 5"7' and 145lb, and I wouldn't say I need major alteration...

Yeah that's the brand they manufacture with sweatshop kids and sell it in sears and macys and nordstrom. Rubbish IMO but its OK given the price is usually like 12.99 for a shirt.

Looks like a soft shouldered, three piece suit. More similar to the Daniel than Anthony

What's Daniel? I was going to say looks like Bardford in Polo Ralph Lauren

Edit: Though Bradford's buttoning point is definitely higer

^ Bradford is PRL, not RLBL

The Daniel is a soft shoulder RLBL model, kind of rare

I never knew about the Daniel model, all the RLBL I have is Anthony. When did Daniel came out? Was it a one season thing? yea Bradford is PRL, but if it's soft shoulder, higher arm hole, slim lapel, 2 button, side vent, than that sounds pretty much like Bradford (except for the buttoning point).

By the way does RL still carry Bradford, I don't see it in their own stores anymore, but I still do see it in Saks Fifth

Tried on the Austin; same shoulder as the Anthony. The jacket is shorter and the pants slimmer.

RL still carry Bradford. I purchased a Bradford Navy blazer last month. Love the buttoning position. Really low .

I recommend mtm for RLBL. They have a special promotion at RL where you can get an MTM BL suit at the same price as an OTR suit. The conditions are as follows:

It has to be the same fabric as their OTR suits (you can't pick a custom swatch)

It has to be your first mtm RLBL suit. It doesn't apply if you've done mtm before with RLBL.

I have a Polo dress shirt on a Purple PRL label. Shirt is tagged "100% Sea Island Cotton/ Made in England." Unlined collar, MOP buttons, buttonholes look hand done. Any idea who made this or when it was made?
