Just one question about how they fit...I take a UK9 on Crockett & Jones 337 and 348 lasts, and a US10 with Alden Unlined Chukka boots....my foot was measured at US8.5 on the left, and US9.0 on the right, but I always size up on the account of my high in-step I suppose. I was just wondering if you think I can possibly slip into a 9 on these beauties, as they are sold out in most sizes:

On another note - and this may interest some of you - I received word that South Willard is expecting Quoddy blucher boots at any moment.

I wear a 12 in Sperry's and I sized to an 11.5 in Quoddy for my boat shoes and it's perfect. They were tight but they molded PERFECTLY.

on a tangent, just about everything imaginable has been happening with my quoddy order. first the red camp sole was out of stock. then the sewing machine broke. who knows what's next but i'm regretting not getting one of the south willard offerings over my customs.

grr.

Yeah, i really want some quoddys but i think i'd rather just wait until spring or something when some retailers stock them instead of messing with the custom ordering.

Yeah, I just wondering if I could take a 9 in those Ring Boots...In most American shoes, I have worn a 10 or 10.5...sneakers are usually the latter..there is a bit of room in front of the toe on my Alden unlined chukka boots which I have in a 10....and I have yet to really stretch them. Likewise, the Ring Boots will mold to my foot, but the question is whether my foot will fit to begin with for that to happen. South Willard accepts returns up until 7 days. I suppose I could give it a chance, despite having return shipping charges to pay if they don't fit. The brown ring boots are more attractive, but alas fewer sizes remain.
