You're welcome man, just make sure the water you use with it is not too hot.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend mate :)

I've been trying to determine the last on a pair of these I bought 6 months ago! How did you determine these are last 72? And thank you!

That's surprising. I've used Nano on Crockett and Jones, Alden, Red Wing, Lucchese, Jack Erwin, Danner, Peal&Co, Clarks, Greats, Ferragamo and Ralph Lauren and never had any hint of a problem. Colors are lightest sand, to light tan to sage blue to cognac to snuff to dark brown. Wonder what happened with yours?

Is there something that will do this, this easily, for leather?

    http://glenkarencare.com/gkcp/water-resistant/

They use sodium bentonite in the polish to add water resistance without heavy waxes and oils that may darken the leather (like the stuff you'd use on heavy duty leather boots, obenauf's etc)

    Hi Gentlemen,

With the pound at 30 yr lows against the dollar, I used to order shoes from Pediwear exclusively. Would ppl here please recommend other online stores that are trustworthy and perhaps have better prices for C&J?

    Thanks

    @Cleav

It is my understanding that current CJ hand grade is essentially on par with EG is that correct?

Crockett has stepped up their game quite a bit making them closer to EG?

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

Hadn't really thought about it WM. The quality of both is very good imho, others will have stories etc claim and counter claim. I handle lots of both and have no issue. Comparable?

I've always thought the main difference between C&J and EG was the quality of leather used and hand antiquing applied.

    Thanks Gentlemen.

I have been hearing rumblings here and there regarding Crockett really stepping up their HG line.

I am about to pull the trigger on pair of HG's. This will be my first calfskin purchase in years if I do.

Thinking about the Beaumont in Beechwood Calf...
