Last time I asked about C&J's ability to obtain Zug (March 2014) I received the following from Lauren:

"Unfortunately after a lengthy process I have been informed that we are not able to make anything up in Zug."

Maybe things have changed. Personally I doubt it so went ahead and purchased the AS Kelso from Shoehealer today (who I believe has a decent supply). Zug with Veldt on Commando. Pretty sweet makeup.

Confirmed. C&J on the 240 last in dark brown shell. And the single nail in the middle of the heel is in fact there IRL.

They run a bit large IMO. Nice model.

It's a little academic at this stage, but I believe that's 13 who have shown interest in the Snowdons, namely:

Let me know if I you want adding/removing, but until we know about the zug...

^ Please be so kind to remove me from the list. As stated above I went ahead and got hold of the Kelso's and have no need for these too. Cheers.

I would Luv to see a picture of these boots when you get a chance. I would Luv to see if the Leather is as thick as which they used on the Galway boots that where done in Zug. I have seen some where the leather just is not quite as thick.

I would like to get an idea of cost, payment terms, and expected delivery if and when this becomes possible.

@nigeljh : Perhaps we should move over the interest list to the C&J MTO page. Thanks for spear-heading this btw. Look forward to the updated reply from Lauren.
@laufer : I would like to see the shearling collar just like the Turner's, but when we tried this MTO last time, we got a definitive no from the factory. Hopefully we can sway their decision

I can ask, but is that what we want?

I could go with the full lining, but personally wouldn't want the shearling, although from previous efforts I'm not sure it would even be possible.

Is zug still the preferred leather if it's available?

    Thoughts anyone?
