@CandJONLINE May I ask if you plan on allowing the rejected shoes to be dispatched outside the Factory Shop?

I phoned the Shop last weekend, and was informed about the shoes available that I wanted to purchase but the lady working there told me the policy does not allow her to post the shoes outside the Factory shop anymore. It really is a shame as nowadays both the John Lobb and Edward Green shops will charge your card and post the seconds to the desired address.

    Just phone them.

Pauline at JL and Jillian at EG. Don't hope too much. Especially at EG. All the popular styles are usually unavailable. Funny thing is whenever I call the EG factory they don't have a single style, but at the pop-up sale they are loaded .. :D something fishy there ..

CJ has a huge amount of rejects available that I wanted to purchase. Coniston boots for instance are 200 GBP ~ $295 ..

Quick and dirty pics of the Chiltern from earlier today. I wore them extensively for 2 years overseas and had them resoled by C&J when I came back. The suede had faded to a very dusty light brown at that point so I also redyed them a dark brown.

Is she interested in high quality, and I mean high quality and not just expensive, shoes and have hinted to these or a similar pair in particular?

How do you determine what C&J has in stock for seconds / subs?

What kind of discount should I expect when purchasing seconds / subs?

    Thanks

You have to just turn up at the factory shop! From my experience, they are not prepared to post out subs.

I'm planning on visiting the shop again in the next few weeks, so I will not state the fantastic discounts in case everyone piles in and gets the best shoes!

Just turn up and grab a bargain! (Shushhh, don't tell everyone)
