I purchased a Crockett & Jones Boots from Barneys called the Arran The leather is Cavalry Calf which looks and feels like shell cordovan, but it is not.
I am looking for advise on polishing and caring for them. I am not sure what is Cavary Calf, perhaps it is corrected leather, but it feels a bit waxy.
Any advice from all you expertrs is greatly appreciated.

Isn't it the same leather used on the Northcote? Both the black and brown? I care for them as I do any calfskin shoe

Agree with Namor, why would the care and treatment of these be any different than any other pair of calf boots or shoes?

What is the difference between the C&J 337 vs. 341 lasts in terms of toe-box width of and overall length (a side by side comparison photo would be very much appreciated).

    Happy Holidays!

I got a pair of those too and don't plan to do anything special to them.
Probably just conditioner and maybe some paste wax as needed to keep the shine.

I called up the C&J factory, but it seems that they don't ship outside the EU - anyone have any ideas around this?

The purpose of a factory is to make goods; the purpose of the STORES is to sell factory made goods.
Therefore, get in touch with one of C&J stores

First of a few pairs in from Barneys

Finishing on this pair is a bit rough, especially at the sole. But give the price it's hard to complain

Can anyone tell me about the post Xmas sale at CJ. I just received email with dates from them with no details. As I am new to the brand I haven't shopped the sale in prior years. Appreciate the info.

    Thanks - Happy Holidays.

Yeah, I noticed that too (slight bummer). Either way, great value. The SA said Lindricks only being sold online; not instore.
