Can anyone comment on how 240 last fits (in comparison to 348/358/337). BB has the shell boots made by C&J in 240, but C&J themselves only have boots in 348 (Northcote which I have) and 341 (Shell Cordovan) which I don't have. I can't seem to find anything in C&J store in 240 last, and didn't see the BB in London carry the shell boots either. P.s. these are the ones I am talking about http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCatP...lt_color=Brown
hey folks so i ordered the Peal&CO cordovan boot in 10.5 just like my northcote, i am a US11d, are these boots about to be too small on me??? how does 341 last compare to 348, my 348 (runs a bit big but i prefer it that way)

341 is wider, shorter compared to the 348.

Has anyone purchased C&J's from Robert Old (http://www.robertold.co.uk/acatalog/Shoes.html) before? Unlike Bodiley's or Pediwear, there appears to be an availability of various sizes for many shoes.

x2 Anyone have experience ordering from them before?

They have some in stock I'd like to get my hands on. [IMG]

so do people normally size up 1/2 in 341?

will i be ok with having 341/348 in same size?

The C&J BB Peal shell boots are on the 240, not the 341:

Can anyone else chime in on the fit of the 240 last? Seems to be a C&J last made for Peals? I did some searching but didn't get a definitive answer.

They're not a Peal exclusive last. The Grasmere is on the 240:

As far as fit, they seem a little generous in the toe to me. Maybe a 1/4 size large, but since they're the type of boots I might wear with thick socks, and the high ankle holds the foot, it works for me. I'm a 9D in most everything and a 9D in these.

IDK ill have to see, i am a 11USD, meaning a 10.5UKE, so as long as c&J doesnt adjust for us sizes i may be ok.

I am actually pretty sure you will be fine. 10.5US or 11US on these Shell boots will probably both work for you depends on how roomy/tight you want it to be.

Gents, a recent incident at home resulted in one toe cap on a relatively brand new pair of dark brown Hallam's to get completely soaked. The result is that the cap has lost it's wonderful deep dark brown colour and looks a lot lighter, and almost duller. When I say duller, it is more like the shade of the shoe tounge. I have tried to apply some dark brown cream, but it hasn't really worked.

Any other options available to me?
