Went over to Colmore Row today and bought these for the Duchess. She joins the C & J fold!

Classic service matched by the product.

    Happy days

To give you a better idea of the color of Pembroke. It is more like antique tan. I like 325 last.

I do like the look and the 325 is sleeker than most country lasts, but I wish there was a lighter tan alternative similar to that of the Cottesmore. I might as well pick up the Pembroke though.

I asked the salesperson in the NY about this yesterday. He said it will only be on discontinued models, not anything in the store currently. They don't even know which models, as they are waiting on the shipment from England.

Sad I dropped by Barney's and none of the shoes I wanted were available...

Same :( Stopped by the one in San Francisco this morning, their stock was looking pretty sparse. On the flip side they had new Isaia suits for 1200 a piece, not bad.

I had my doubts at first, but after I tried them on, I couldn't resist.

Good call on the advice about not canceling the Christopher Forbes order. Almost five days after ordering a pair of Islays from Barney's I have been informed that my order has been cancelled because they can't fulfill it. Weak.

-FYI heads up, just returned a pair of Black Weymouth, handgrade line, size 9.5 US to Barney's (I purchased @ first sale price of ~$530, now marked down to $369) as I decided to get a different pair. I'd imagine it should be coming back online in a week or two if anyone missed out!
