I'm eyeing these scotchgrain C&J ghillies sold by the French company Upper Shoes.

I'm an average US 10.5 & have so far been a UK 9.5 in all of the mid-priced RTW English shoes I've bought (e.g. AS, Cheaney, etc.). My only euro-size footwear are sandals (Birkenstock & Mephisto), all in 44. The Upper Shoes website shows 44 as the equivalent of UK 10. Can anyone comment on that conversion? Should I see if they can order a 43.5, or take my chances on the 44?

I've got those in suede from Barney's. They're on the 341 last.
My gut feel says that the 44 is going to be too big for you.

Thanks for the input. They said they'd restock in Oct. So I'll wait.

I've been wanting to pick up a C&J belt, but I'd need it for next Sunday. I'm in Canada... is there anywhere I can order from that would get me one in time?

Snagged a pair of westbournes and sommervilles today, great prices too

Timing is everything. Am in ny for a wedding saw these posts and dropped by barneys. Bought sommervilles for less than half price. Wow!

Would have bought something else butidont think I can pull off the navy drummonds. Wish they had dark brown

Thanks for the headsup. I'm sure a lot will be for sale soon here from the usual suspects.

Navy goes with a lot, the contrast stitching throws it off a little.
