I received my first Gentlemen's Association pocket square today. Did anybody else become a part of this? What are your thoughts? I'm looking forward to seeing the future editions in the upcoming months.

I don't know, but I give Jesse a lot of credit for finally introducing the word "gentlemen" to the online menswear world.

If you ask me, "Gentlemen" is classic steez. Crispy heritage artisan.

I would totally post a picture, except that my remaining stock (all of two squares) is at the fulfillment place. Anyone else?

The power was out because of the hurricane (!) here in northeast LA, so we didn't get them out until Friday and Saturday. They went first class mail, so they should show up within a couple of days, even for folks on the east coast.

Jesse, I can take a picture (with my lousy Blackberry camera) of my square and share if you're okay with it.

Received mine in the mail today! Bad photo with a flash, not natural lighting, but you can get the idea:

You can sign up at any time. The next square goes out on February 1st, and I've extended the offer of a linen square with a one-year membership.

I've received mine and the linen square - very nice! The edges are rolled pretty thick compared to most squares that I have or have seen before.

They're genuinely hand-rolled. No roller involved, just fingers. I love a nice, full round edge.

"Gentlemen" is also part of the name of GQ's charity arm, the Gentleman's Fund.

GQ of course stands for Gentleman's Quarterly.

Re: the pictured square: very nice, Marinella-ish.

Well, I won't say who the silk for this round of squares was printed for before it made its way into my hands, but I will say that you are a well-informed consumer and a very good guesser. OVERALL. In this case, of course, I will not reveal for whom the silk was made. I would say that a well-informed consumer who was also a good guesser might be able to figure it out, but WHO KNOWS who that might be.
