If Polo C&J shoes say 9D US size, will it be 8 or 8.5UK E fitting shoe?

Those of you who owns polo C&J shoes in US size either 9D or 9.5D, kindly post measurements of shoes please?

    Thanks

my Polo chukkas (9D, very likely C&J) measure 11 7/8 inches heel to to and 4 1/16 inches wide.

This also depends on which last. If you're talking about the 325 (Darlton), they are different from the less casual styles (337ish last).

I have the Darlton, and the Double Monk. They both have different measurements.

As for the double monk - I have a 10.5D. It is either on the 337 last or on a last very similar to the 337 last. I wear a 9.5E in the 337. I find the fit to be identical in both cases.
