So if I spill paint all over my Vassssshh does that make me a great philosopher (and not a third-rate academic) just waiting to be discovered a few generations after my death? Not a bad plan, come to think of it. Anyway, I like your attitude, OP. In a way.
There only one way to find out. No body at SF will laugh at you for trying. Frankly, I don't think that a pair of Allen Edmonds would qualify for the Museum of Modern Art, but Vass, now thats different. And think of the respect you get from your students, quite the social statement.

I just noticed you also dotted the tongues of the shoes. You took the time to remove the laces to do that. This reveals utter contempt of a fine quality Allen Edmonds product.
May I suggest repeating the procedure, dot for dot, with Glow-In-The-Dark paint?

What an excellent idea. I would rec finding transparent glow in the dark paint. Under normal lights, the shoe is CBD. But step inside a club with those UV lights, and you're the MAN.

You know, many African tribes dot their apparel with white paint.

Maybe if you click your heels 3 times, you'll be transported to Kenya.

I actully wanted to make it a perfect match, however, the interesting thing about the jacket is that the flecks appear random, very much like the distribution of stars in the universe. I turns our that thats not easy to do, and that when people try to distribute points at random, they actually make things much more uniform (regular) than random.

Maybe not Vasaasshhh but from what some of them think of AEs round here that "objet d'art" is most appropriate.

I suppose that makes it not random, no?
