Tonight: out with friends for Chinese NY celebrations.

Tried out the polo shirt with jacket combo for the first time tonight.

Jacket is a little tight when buttoned, but I never button it anyway. Seems ok for fairly cheap OTR. All purchased in Tokyo (I miss it there).

Looks nice, I like the boots in particular. But that pulling in the back is no good, that would bug me to no end if I was wearing that jacket.

Haven't posted anything in awhile, so here's a picture my friend took of me yesterday. Not really a fit pic, but I thought it was kinda cool. [IMG]

Admittedly, I look pretty slobby today. Im not sure how to dress up the cardigan, any suggestions/thoughts? - and should I wear it open or closed?

The fit looked good and I loved the tie. I just had to give you crap about looking a little geeky in the pic. Nothing against the way you dress. The haircut and glasses just don't fit well with me for some reason. Sorry but that's my opinion. You do look damn good, just in a way I never could. Hope we didn't start out on the wrong foot here.

Oh no, no hard feelings, you are rather right with nerdcomment though, I am a nerd from the toes to my fingertips. Everybody's entitled to an opinion and if taste in fashion were to be all the same then it would be rather dull. Me personally I like the glasses and it's a nice break from the prescreption onces that I normally wear.

Thanks for the compliment, I felt rather dashing to be honest.

@soth I dug the fit, I've always had a soft spot for those 50's inspired looks.

Andy having worked with kinergarten kids myself, they'd probably love the look, nice job man

Thanks man, I've only recently started to dress in a more early WWII way. It's coming on since I started dancing Lindy hop, old time swing.

And yeah, they really dig it.

dude...NOT open...that looks really bad haha. closed isn't that great either actually although I get the feeling it could look better in person than in the photos.

Thanks, I feel more comfortable with it open, but I get it. The collar i funky, I dont know if I like it popped, but its too small to fold down... The whole thing feels pretty large though, is that normal sizing? Finally, any suggestion about what kind of shirt to wear under it? Thanks.
