I took the ex to meet GS a few weeks ago and after describing him as a total tat'd up badass we got in the car to go back home and she said, "Man, your friends are such pussies." [IMG]

Over-doing it a bit, no? I've never seen a thug dress like GS, and I definitely wouldn't run in fear at the sight of him, but maybe I'm just reckless.
lol...my 'thug attire days' are long gone back then my WAYWT would have been a wifebeater, 10 hole steelcap Docs, jeans rolled up above top of boots. here's my current driver's license pic (taken about 10 yrs ago) which everyone says looks more like a mugshot. [IMG] [IMG]

Yeah, I would say that that's heading into thug territory. You're clearly a respectable, law-abiding citizen now though.

You've inspired me to work on cultivating my image as an internet tough-guy and all-around disreputable person .

Perhaps we could discuss Jean-Pierre Leaud.

Unfortunately, I live on the other coast.

Whenever Whodini does his "turn left... turn right... face the camera" video WAYWTs, a little voice in my head says, "Is this the man who attacked you, ma'am?"

As well you should be. GS and I are known in San Gabriel Valley as the "Smash Bros" for a reason.

One thing I noticed in WAYWT is that nobody ever wears combat/cargo trousers. I know in general they look bad, but they're so damn comfortable, and I have seen people on the street rocking them before. Opinions?
i occasionally post a WAYWT wearing my green yohji combat cargo trousers, baggy, or a more slim one with a single pocket that doubles as two by itself. i liked the first of the LK trilogy of these past few days the best...reminds me of that McQueen show where people walking around in black trenchcoats and plastic faces. today i'm wearing (no pic) Number (N)ine kurt cobain t-shirt APC jeans Vans sk8-his.

well...he definitely deserves it...i'd have to say that he's just about the most creative mf'er i've seen put up a post...if he isn't happy in his current profession, i think he'd do well as a movie costume designer or stylist -- because everything he puts up is very atmospheric...

and, as evidenced by the reactions he's getting, his style can sometimes be a little unsettling to the observer...shit, if i didn't know that he posts pics of himself on a style website, i just might be a little unnerved by him, myself

LabelKing you continue to impress. How the heck do you do it? I could never pull off what you do, but if I saw you in public I think I'd stare with wonder. Impeccable. The villagers demand higher resolution shots with more detail.
