Yes he is correct, but I do wonder how they judge film reviews without a formal rating system when the reviewer isn't 100% clear on if he felt it was watching or not. Or when they only recommend it for filmgoers with specific tastes.

It's easy to aggregate the data when look at star ratings or "thumbs," not so much when it's left open to interpretation.

At the end of the day it's fair to say aggregators don't tell the whole story.

It may surprise some of you but I really don't mind Ataturk shit posting in this thread. He's at least entertaing in his criticisms and I'd take that over Rambo's nonsense back in the Comic Thread any day.

Looking forward to the drama after Thursday. :p

Gee, thanks. I think you ought to be allowed to speak as well!

    Speaking of the movie:

Speaking of spoilers I've decided to go ahead and mark the thread as such in the morning. No ones going to be modderating posts but please be respectful enough to use spoiler tags for the the first couple weeks. It doesn't take a lot of effort and keeps you from looking like a dick. After that feel free to post away without them.

Eh I got it... That's why I followed up saying I've decided to relax my position on them. Really all I'm asking is people use good judgement about spoilers and don't be dicks in this thread.

I fully realize the "don't be a dick about them" is a tall order to ask in the interwebs.

Darth Snape kills Jedi Dumbledore. Spoilers.

How could you possibly spoil this fucking movie? Character A you've never heard of and don't give a shit about kills character B you've never heard of and don't give a shit about. Who gives a shit? Spoil away.

    @Jr Mouse
If you've seen the new SW movie, proceed:
Do you think Kylo Ren will carry Luke on her back when they train, like Luke did with Yoda?
Also, do you think Kylo Ren is Han's daughter, like the non-canon Solo twins? But then there is Ben Solo as well who exists in this movie.
Also, could you take Adam Driver's face seriously? I thought he looked a bit douchey but then his acting/character/plot and actions really made him the perfect actor for the role.

So I didn't know this was possible with adults, but my gf has a coworker who had never seen the movies and freaked out at the "I am your father" line. At 26 years old, she had no idea.

And then was pissed when Colbert made a joke and spoiled the Luke/Leia sibling relationship the next day before she could watch ROTJ.

My favorite is when an adult who has never seen them before says they plan to watch the saga in order. Prequels first. :fu:

I'm concerned Caroline and Andrew might be setting themselves up for disappointment.

Well, realistically-speaking, once you've had a wedding attended by hundreds of fans in costume, with a custom Star Wars-themed wedding cake and Darth Vader walking the bride down the aisle to “The Imperial March,” it's really all downhill from there once you have to face real life as a mundane couple of people on planet earth!
