If you don't like it, then don't buy.

It's a waiting game anyways, they have to clear out their SS/AW XX stock and purchase/sell the next round of SS/AW XX stock and the best way to do that is....sales/markdowns.

This comment made me laugh and like three other people I work with.

You do understand that retailers place stuff on sale to get rid of it, right?

This is primarily due, at least in part, to the seasonal nature of clothing. For example, most designers do a SUMMER and a WINTER collection. As such, when buyers over shoot or a given store did not sell their normal inventory during each respective year and PRIOR to the new season's merchandise coming in, they say, gee, it sure would be nice to have a little extra room from the new stuff. A BIG shinny light comes on and they say, hey, maybe we should have a sale to encourage people to buy are remaining inventory that way we can get rid of it.

The market is not demanding they put stuff on sale!!! I think Mike is still laughing at you.

God lord....can everyone please shut up. This is a sales thread...It's annoying, I feel you, but drawing attention to it makes it go on for 20 posts instead of the one we should all collectively ignore.

Mr Porter charges you for duty/tax/shipping up front.
You can add stuff to your cart and then start to go though checkout to see how much it'll be.

This would be good if there prices were 30% above normal retail to start with.

that apc sale is really good.. i bought a bunch of things that i was holding out for, they have basically everything in stock in every size. My order has already been confirmed and everything is on it's way. That said, sales suck in a sense, you never save money.. you just buy twice as much stuff...

I got a confirmation email that said "PLEASE NOTE that this DOES NOT confirm that your items will be in stock. Due to the high volume of orders, we cannot guarantee that your order will be filled in its entirety"

Copped a pair of Pierre balmain jeans at 30% off from LVR. Sent by DHL, will probably get rape by customs once again.

This is why this thread should stick to posting sales discussion, not sarcastic comments that might confuse people.

Shipping and all duties and taxes are included in your final bill (this is the case in Canada and the US) on LVR so you should be good. What you paid on the website should be it.
