nice, mine should be here tomorrow. can't wait to start breaking them in, i put off getting trail oxfords far too long considering it's my favorite style of shoe.

    Hey guys,
I actually made a pair of these for myself too - i'm so excited to start wearing them. HOWEVER, i have showings next week in NYC, and I figure I should show retailers this leather (it's called Cavalier), and they should see the sole - soooo, I can't start wearing the until late next week!

One of the many advantages of this sole is the weight. For those of you who have trail oxfords with the cristy sole, you'll notice how incredibly light the 2060 is. A lot softer, yet very long lasting and 'tough' for wear.

More photos! Lets see them as they role in

+1 on the vibram sole being light. It felt so good I wanted to do squats in them at the gym.

Man these look outstanding! I really wish I could have ordered a pair, but I simply could not justify another pair of hand-sewn shoes. Congrats to those of you who got in on this exclusive!

Thoughts on the next build? a camp boot for the upcoming fall/winter weather or perhaps a completely new model? :D

Stoked I just stumbled upon this thread! For the sake of casting my (albeit low-weight given my minimal tenure over here) vote: I've been on the long sad search for a pair of natural chromexcel derbies, and I imagine OSB could put together a pretty fantastically long-lasting, daily-wearable pair!

They look great! The Cherry CXL almost looks like shell cordovan to me. Not the super shine of Horween shell, but the flatter finish of Comipel.

    Nice work George!

Yeah they look great. The color is hard to capture but they are actually more red than what my last picture shows. It`s exactly as you described it.

My pics don`t really do these justice so I hope the rest can show their pairs

Got mine today. All I can say is OAK STREET KICKS MAJOR ARSE! These shoes far exceeded my expectations. The color of the leather, the brass eyelets and the sole all come together perfectly.

Thank you George and to all the SF dudes for designing this and getting it made.

Can't wait to wear mine Friday. I'll take a pic when they're on my feet.
