I have a lot of friends who do crossfit. 2 of them competed in the games last year. EVERY FUCKING ONE OF THEM is posting shit on Facebook/insta/twitter about how amazing they are and how badly they want a pair and couldn't get one and most of them have already gone to the secondary market and these are people who are the furthest thing from sneaker heads imaginable.
The Crossfit thing is ridiculous and now the "cool brand" Nike are getting in on the game. I'm honestly surprised they aren't charging $400 CP's they would get it from these idiots.

Be patient about the Metcon 1s, Nike is probably creating demand by limiting the stock they had and delivering the shoes late to stores like Finishline. They'd probably restock in a week or two at NDC and then stores will start getting their stock deliveries by mid-Feb.

questions answered, I don't understand what your last sentence means

i realize there is no way nike sold out their entire production run in minutes for this shoe and suspect some dubious behavior on their part, i'm sure they will be up again soon

i don't plan on paying more than retail

My phone autocorrects "cos" to "CP's". I just meant that if resellers tried to sell them at $400 instead of $250 the pack mentality of crossfit would make people pay that much.

Also the Finish Line store says the metcon will be coming out "mid Febuary" and the Nike Twitter have been saying that a restock will be up soon. My toes have torn through my FK frees so I just want a pair of metcons before these get any worse.

Yep. eBay. Had a BIN for $300 initially and it ultimately sold for $405 including a shipping fee.

Wow. I have a couple pairs of the black/white trainers but think I donated one of them to Goodwill recently. Didn't think there'd be a market for used Flyknits :/

Mine were in fairly good shape. Had some marks on the midsoles and a little gouge (pen tip size) gouge in the foam on one of the shoes. Photographed everything and got what I got. Even if they were pretty well used I'm guessing $300 so. It's pretty crazy.

Anyone have experience with flyknit sizing. I wear 8.5 in vans and janoskis. 9 in regular nike frees. Should I go 9 or 9.5?

Flyknit collection. Lucky to cop the trainers before there was any hype for them.
