As true as that may be, if my memory serves correct, the PI call was specifically stated to take place on the 2 yard line. Which the replays clearly show that field position. Bad call, sure, but as a Cowboys fan (/hide), I'll take it for now.

Two conclusions:

1. Dallas made the right decision to keep Dez over DeMarco. Star WRs are harder to come by than star RBs.

2. Chip Kelly is crazy like a fox. The Sam Bradford trade makes more sense now.

Forbath was a pretty good FG kicker, but he couldn't kick the ball out of the end zone on kickoffs. That put the team at a significant disadvantage. He'll catch on with a team that carries a kickoff specialist.

The only RB I'd give the kind of contract that Murray got would be someone like Frank Gore. Why? He's a bruising back that has been doing it with good and bad O lines. Murray seemed much more dependent on that big Dallas O line.

Sounds like a lot, but is that the going rate for a QB of his caliber? I'd put him on the same tier as Roethlisberger, Rivers, Ryan, Flacco, and Romo.
