Sucks for the Redskins. They took Carlos Rogers with the 9th overall pick and then had to take Jason Campbell after Rodgers went the pick right before.

Also, being Brett Favre's backup surely helped his development, no?

The Giants are working out Wes Welker today. I assume this is s gesture of gratitude for dropping that pass.

Might as well ask why every single team passed on Tom Brady seven times

Same reason they passed on Michael Sam...

Really, even though Tom wasn't out at the time?

I really hope he retires. He's had like 20 concussions.

Pats going to go undefeated in the regular season. I'm 88% sure.

^ Hmmm. I don't know. I expected 12-4 at the start of the year. I could see a less impressive Indy, having taken care of Pittsburgh (and Buffalo at Buffalo), an injured Dallas and what appears to be a less impressive Miami team getting me to add another win, but almost nobody avoids the occasional bad game and falling to quality competition once in awhile.

The only team I gave a second thought to looking at the schedule were the Jets games.

Division rival + quietly competent thus far + your theory of the occasional bad game = possible loss.

I could see them dropping one @ Denver too because that defense is legit

^ Plus they are playing at Denver. I'd be very happy with 15-1 but will believe it when I see it (plus if we go into week 17 14-1, we'll probably take out all our key starters).

Either way, I'm hoping for a Falcons - Pats SB like I predicted last year.

If not possible, I want to face the Cards.

Falcons aren't getting to the Superbowl. Matt Ryan is a solid 2nd tier QB and the rest of his team isn't good enough to counteract that. Right now, it's either the Packers or Cardinals coming out of the NFC.

Agreed. I also would not count out a resurgent Seattle or healthy Dallas (if they survive the current group of injuries well enough to make the playoffs; it's not like anyone great is in their division), but agree GB and Arizona look like the teams to beat today.

Tomlin cost Pittsburgh that game. No question.
