My brother and I are planning on going to New York and we are trying to figure out what to do as well as what shops to definitely check out. Any suggestions for shopping??

Looking for shoes, and maybe tailored clothing.

If you want food suggestions, you need to give some parameters...too many possibilities...

    Babbo

My bad. Il Gattopardo. Still, a very good place to eat, imo.

besides the places listed are there any other places to visit?

What about mitchells? I love Wilkes out here in the bay area and would like to check out their east coast stores. Any thoughts/suggestions?

One of my co-workers also mentioned the Meat Packing District and I saw a bunch of spots that look really sweet so I will probably add that to my agenda.

When I lived in NYC, I used to just wander around Soho, the upper eastside, and the business district, there are so many random boutiques and stores there worth checking out.

The RL mansion is worth seeing. 75th and Madison if I remember my cross streets correctly.
