IMO not a good thing. If anyone can make it an asset though it would be Pop. IMO 4th best of all time (Jackson, Auerbach, Riley, Pop)

    George Karl out.

Wow. Lose a GM and the team starts falling apart.

It Rotoworld is to be believed, the split was around J McGee not starting and playing Andre Miller too much. How incredibly stupid. Miller was instrumental, he played great ball all season and played very well side by side with Lawson. McGee, debatable, but IMO the kid still makes too many mistakes and shouldn't start yet.

A very promising team could completely fall apart here.

They should sign Patrick Roy he'd have more to work with.

Did Karl ever take them past the first round of the playoffs?

Wouldn't be surprised to see him coaching next season though, there's a bunch of openings for head coaches right now

so with the success of rookie head coaches like Spoelstra, Thibodeau and Mark Jackson, I am hoping franchises start giving opportunities to more newbies.

Ya'll that pull for both la teams that shit is suspect. Imagine a New Yorker rooting for the mets and yankees. Doesn't happen

Karl would elevate the clips for sure tho

Seems like the least predictable series in memory. Wouldn't be surprised if Spurs swept Heat or Heat swept Spurs or anything in between. Heat in 6 seems marginally most likely outcome.

If I were starting a franchise today, I would take Pop over all of them

what a great game so far. Both teams looking very sharp. foul trouble already an issue. Parker makes me dizzy running around my tv like that.

and holy crap is Ginobili throwing passes that curve in the air around a defender like a penalty kick?

yes and two more things - Karl's main issue in the first round was that he kept getting matched up with the Spurs big 3 or Shaqobe. second, he's the reigning coach of the year. I wonder how the Nuggets are thinking they can do better. Phil ain't coming to Denver

    Damn! What a game!

The Heat couldn't have defended that better and that shot by Parker couldn't get any closer.

Not even rooting for anyone to win but simply enjoying the game as a fan. :slayer:

 @ Bosh shooting 3's though. He cna be 10/10 and I'd still let him shoot those 3s instead of Lebron or Wade in the paint.
