And even if he didn't, so what? They got infinitely better, can actually give Miami problems now, and have a chance to sell more tickets and go deeper into the playoffs. Iguodala was gone anyway and their 1st rounder wasn't special. Sounds like a great 1 year rental to me.

Btw, this trade makes no sense for Orlando. They get worse and barely save any money (they have to pay Afflalo + Harrington $14 mil a year for the next 3 years.)

I know they get draft picks, but they're all outside the lottery.

Would much rather have dumped all my contracts on Houston for some draft picks and rookie-wage players.

Orlando and Denver didn't get enough in this trade. The Lakers (unfortunately) and 76ers did well. I hate to say it, but I think the Lakers may win the championship, though it usually takes a full year for new players to get used to playing together.

I think everyone won in this trade except for Orlando.

Denver got an upgrade in Iguodala over Afflalo and shed long-term salary.

If Bynum buys into (Teach Me How To) Dougie Collins, the Sixers could have one of the best years they've had in a long, long time. Orlando has decided to be shit for the next few years I guess

looks awesome on paper. i just hope this doesn't turn into 2004 all over again (karl malone, gary payton, kobe, shaq, and it ended with none of them speaking to each other .... and no trophy).
it's hard to see a weakness on this team ... except for three-point shooting ... oh wait

Are you kidding? Iggy is a top notch player and they cut rid of old ass shoots too much and is paid a grip Harrington. Afalo is good but whatever.

Orlando just had to hold their nose and eat the poo-poo platter. Worth it imho just to get rid of Dwight and all his BS. Afalo is a very soild young player with a huge upside. They get a lot of young plkayers, and I guess tehy hope one or two of them can become soild rotation players or even be a diamond late in the 1sr. It's rare but it happens and they get like 6 cracks at it now. And those players are cheap. Combine them with theiur own lottery pick and they can be back on their feet in no time.

Orlando would have gotten more out of either Houston or the Nets. Badly played by them, even given the absolute shit hand dealt to them by Howard.

I hate to see a guy like Howard end up getting a great deal when he did everything wrong beforehand. And of course it was the Lakers that pulled it off.

I guess the Lakers gets a back-up PG in Duhon? I'd take Blake over him but I guess another body to throw to other PGs isn't bad?
