SBnation OKC 4th quarter stagnation analysis was 100% correct, they have nothing outside of KD and Westbrook. Even when Ibaka is on a roll they cannot capitalise on it.

I look forward to getting (even) old(er) and reminiscing about this Warriors team and season, like I've done for so long with the Bulls' second threepeat.

Jalen actually said something similar in a podcast a few days ago. Something along the lines of "Are these teams even trying? These are professional athletes getting paid big money and they seem content to let the Warriors beat them on the way to making history."

Seriously though, I've made my peace with them breaking the record. My only hope is they don't win the chip.....

Before all star break it felt like every warriors game was a playoff game. Now kinda seems listless. OKC just doesn't have the personnel to play ball movement heavy. Ball just ends up in the hands of Roberson or waiters

Oscar's completely wrong about Steph Curry. His scoring would go down a bit just because of there not being a three point line. But defenses then packed the middle. Curry would be unguarded for most of his shots.

A funny misperception about Wilt - you always hear "he never played against anyone his height". But the median starting center his rookie year was 6'9.5", and his last season it was 6'10". The current median is 6'11". So he had a whopping 1.5" advantage.

Weren't a lot of those guys just giant white guys who couldn't really play and weren't athletic? At least today's centers are black, white, and euros who have some athletic ability.

Oh come on, modern starting centers like Mason Plumlee, Kosta Koufous, and Andrew Bogut would just dominate those guys, am I right?

Love to see one of those guys or, say, Chris Kaman going up against Nate Thurmond down low.

Guy got 18 rebounds in a quarter once.

Dawkins or Moses Malone would eat up most current centers.

You do realize that current HOF's play against average current NBA players right? Or have my 39 years left me so befuddled that I've missed a giant rule change?

Lol GSW lost to the Lakers. That fact alone makes them worse than the 72-10 Bulls regardless of what their record ends up at

Those 72-10 Bulls did have a loss to the Raptors who were garbage back in the day sort of how the Lakers are now.
