I actually thought Scott's headshot last night may be the most damaging we've seen so far, but, not sure how to phrase this correctly, the intent wasn't as blatant as some of the other's we've seen. That is, he didn't leave his feet and didn't raise his elbows. He's a lumberjack, so even a hip check on a just-shot Erikson would have resulted in a headshot. The "blindsided" part is what'll get him out for a while, but I don't think it was as bad as Cook-Savard.

Still, I'm guessing 10 games.

oof. You know the Rangers are desperate for their captain Callahan plus Nash, Lundqvist, and Hagelin when they lose in regulation to the Flyers. Rough.

The Flyers got really lucky. Giroux is still without a goal and the Rangers had key players out. I still can't see them in the playoffs at this point.

Well, the Flyers finally broke loose against a stronger team. It was good to see a well earned win, but I still have no confidence with our defense. We have to work on a faster breakout. Baby steps for now.

Damn, poor Holtby. Plays near-ish his hometown, gets 20 people out to see him and he gets the hook less than 15 minutes in. I remember when he was an AHL callup a few years ago and would be in complete beast mode every time you saw him... sad to see he is so inconsistent now. To be fair, he did get hung out to dry pretty bad. I love the crazy superstitious goalies like him... looks like his luck's run out for now.

Even Neuvirth had a softy tonight. To be fair, Varlamov wasn't exactly the model of consistency when he was on the Caps either...
