My New J. Gilbert NST Aldens

I was in there Friday.
They were down to a 9 and a 9.5 in the burgandy bluchers.
Too bad I wear an 11.

The J. Gilbert NST cognac Alden shoes are now up on the Alden of Carmel website.

I wore mine today for the first time. They look great and are super comfortable. I am hoping J. Gilbert will do some more of these shoes in other colors.

Well I certainly did not have that great experience with J Gilbert Footwear. I was down in Tucson, Arizona last April. I purchased a pair of cowboy boots. I have always wanted a pair. I pick my style, and then my feet were sized. I was leaving to go back home in Canada the next day, not thinking this was a scam. I was originally told the boots would take 3-4 weeks. I did receive a pair in August 2015. Not the style I picked and the wrong size. I took a picture of the boots and sent it off. The store was very upset, and they were going to get to the bottom of this. I keep e-mailing back and forth with David. I even ask to refund me, twice. So here it is Jan 2016, still no boots or refund. I would suggest, if you plan on purchasing a pair of boots from J Gilbert, do not leave the store with one. Otherwise you will get what you leave the store with, NOTHING.
