    Very nice.

But, can anyone explain this series of threads?

I cant believe this guy is just a layman out there walking into shops and helping himself to tools to make a pair of shoes.

I like the shape of these and the sole looks very refined.

Also the color is perfect and is one of the most versatile I find.

All in all very well done!!

What is your question, exactly? I never said I simply walk into workrooms and use people's tools. I visited Koronya shoes for a 2 week 'apprenticeship.' Previously, I had the good fortune to spend some time with other people in the trade whom I had met via the internet or been introduced to by mutual acquaintances. I have been trying to learn this trade and improve my skills for the past number of years, as I get the time. I have a workshop where I do my work, and I own a range of shoemaking tools purchased over the past 6+ years. If you want to see my progress, and also read a bit more about my 'journey,' you can use the search function and search for 'My adventures in shoemaking' which will give all of my still-extant threads on this topic. You will note the threads go back almost 3 years. Given the interest in shoes on this forum, I post because I believe some are interested in seeing what I'm doing and, perhaps, learning a bit about bespoke shoemaking.
