I was about to say "Did you break his pointing stick?" but the way this thread has been going during the past 24 hours...

I attacked him when he least expected it. He reacted well though; he's still got it!

The Scottish Daily Record has this library pic of Frankie Vaughan. Frankie was well known for his social campaigning, and in this pic he is shown with (per caption) four 'gang leaders' from Glasgow. They are obviously youths, and display aspects of the late mod look. the guy on the right is wearing braces.

    Thanks, pal.

I'm sure I've not seen this one - or am I wrong... again. :satisfied:

Wish I was slimmer! Thank god I'm skilled enough to (somewhat) hide a beer belly under a suit!

Tidy suit - something I wish I'd learned when I was younger instead of wasting so much time in the pub, talking bollocks.

I've asked Mrs Inks to pick me up a bottle from Jack Cohen's tomorrow. It's a Greene King product, so it should be half decent. Ginger and spices added apparently. I don't get the tie-in between spiced real ale, and a club in Manchester. But, it is booze, so no excuse needed for yours truly. It could be called 'Marriott's Burnt Duvet', I'd still drink it.

It may be that my old memory is gutting impaired, but I don't recognise it. Where's it from?

I believe the bloke in the front is Les Kent from the cover of the Richard Allen novel. [IMG]

There are a few others on the site I don't recognise either, pal. :satisfied:

Edit: Apologies - again - just checked the site and it appears it was sourced by the site owner from - where else - but The Ballroom Blitz. (They must have some really great software to source the material - bless 'em!) :satisfied:
